This purely white wine appellation is adjacent to Sancerre in the Loire and produces crisp, dry wines from 100% Sauvignon Blanc in a similar style. The nose is powerful with all the classic 'new mown grass' aromas of Sauvignon Blanc. On the palate it is a sophisticated wine with a complex finish.
